Hollywood Sport Rider eBike Rack Unboxing Adventure
We had ridden our ebikes around town enough to get used to them. It was time to get out on some trails. We needed a way to carry both ebikes with our SUV or RV. After a lot of research, we decided to buy the Hollywood Sport Rider eBike Rack. 
Why We Chose the Hollywood Sport Rider eBike Rack
With dozens of bike racks for sale, we decided on 10 things we had to have in our bike rack.

The Unboxing Adventure Begins
We finally received a large box which we knew contained our Hollywood Sport Rider eBike Rack. This senior adventure was about to begin. We weren’t sure how difficult putting the rack together would be so we were anxious to see the parts in the box. Most of the parts were in small, individual boxes. The center post was the first thing we saw. It had a hook latch and two holders for the base of the rack.
Next, we found the stabilizing hooks that attach to the center post
holding the bikes in place. They are meant to slide up and down the center post locking the bike to the rack and holding it steady during travel.
We found the “goesinta” for the receiver on either our SUV or our RV. It had a bolt lock and a tighten screw to reduce vibration and to secure it to the vehicle.
Eventually, we found all the major parts for the rack as well as the instructions for assembly. Once we had the hardware, we were ready to assemble the rack.
We had fun opening each little box. It was a little adventure. With each part, we got a more clear idea of how the whole bike rack would fit together. Our next senior adventure will be the assembly of the Hollywood Sport Rider eBike Rack.

When you blog or video (I am used to seeing the on YouTube) an unboxing, it is a little bit like Christmas for everybody involved. It’s contagious. The onlookers share in the excitement of the ones involved. It would have been nice if you had gone a bit further and showed a few steps of you putting it together along the way though. It would have made it a bit like a “how to” blog and that would have been cool too. Either way, I hope you guys are happy with your rack. Nice job.

I agree with Line, I appreciated you sharing a list of the things that were most important to you while I was looking into this myself. Those are honestly great guidelines for any kind of rack that someone might be looking into getting.
Honestly, I think the price is fine for what it is. And other reports/reviews mention how good it is, if we’re going to be spending that much on a rack then it had better be meeting up with all of that criteria, thanks again for sharing it! 👍
I tend to be cheap so I was tempted to buy a less expensive rack. But, I figured that I had a lot of money invested in the bikes so I wanted a rack that would keep them as safe as possible. Thanks for reading and commenting.
Thank you very much for sharing why selecting the Hollywood sport rider eBike rack is a good choice. I wanted a rack that is well built and also have a tilt function. And this one has me covered. Besides, it has other cool features I had not thought about of but are still helpful (like one person can load the bikes on the rack).

For me this was always a nightmare, to choose the proper Bike rack that has a sturdy construction and is easy to attach.
It is actually perfect that this can be used on both SUV and RV, as we plan to spend the summer vacation RV-ing.
From what I read, I understand that it is fairly easy to assemble the whole thing… I am not very techy but I might be able to get this one together, right?

It is easy to assemble. The even give you the tools. The only thing we had to do twice was the holders for the tires we put them on upside down. Just look at the picture. Its a great rack.

Some excellent points here as to why this is a good ebike rack. Does this ebike rack work for normal bikes too? I am a keen cyclist and so are a few of my friends and we often go out together but struggle to get all the bikes to a certain location.
If this can be used for normal bikes then this could really solve a problem for me.
Yes. It does work for regular bikes, but it is very heavy duty, which makes it expensive. For normal bikes, I would be a lighter, less expensive rack. Thanks for reading and for the question.
As with regular bikes, transporting an e-bike usually requires the use of frame straps and, in some cases, hooks that came in the box when the e-bike was purchased. However, although you can use ordinary shelves to transport conventional bicycles, this is not the case with e-bikes.
Electric bikes need a special hook to mount the bike racks because they are usually heavier than regular bikes.
Yes. E bikes are much heavier than regular bikes so the rack has to be stronger. We like the hooks not only because of stability, but because it helps prevent theft. Thanks for taking the time to read and comment.
